Name Tags for Nundle...geez it's a work of Art!

Made a start on our Name Tag that was requested by Kerry for GDITC at Nundle in March..
Well I'm up for a Challenge...Thinking Cap has been on for a couple of Weeks now so Today was the Day to make a Start.....

I managed all the stitching now needs to finish on the machine...I have also been spending some nights stitching on my New Design..no name as yet...

Well we are so Over This Rain now here on the Coast.

Hello Blog it has been 2 weeks since my last post...
Yesterday saw me Sit.. Stitch & Rest after a hectic 2 weeks..nothing out of the Norm for Me Really..Buying New Furniture-Booking Quotes-Running Errands-Being on Nanna Duties-Going to Work etc etc...I think the Heat of Last Week caught up with Me so Finally Yesterday was My Rest Day...I Remeber when Sunday's were only Ever Rest Days..when I was a Wee Lass My Mother never Washed on Sunday's ...Bring Back those Days.

My Partner Michelle sent me this Design for a New Project ...I set Myself in front of the Laptop and Stitched while catching up with some Quilter's Companion DVD's..3 in fact..those DVD's can be Very Helpful.

I have also made a Start on My Next Swap for Our Online Group...

Strawberry Fields...Pretty for Easter.

Tomorrow is my 2nd day without Miss.E last week saw me catch up on Housework..She was Pleased to See Nanna at 3pm a little Teary after her Nap apparently..I'm pretty much Booked My Tuesday's for the rest of the month..LOL didn't take me Long.

Tomorrow I'm off with another car load to Vinnies and a Visit with My Goddaughter & Her New Bub....and Today another Week Begins.

This Morning after 16months I am Not on Nanna Duties Today or any Tuesday...the next Phase has come for Little Miss E as she is Starting Daycare Today...
So after all these Months of wanting a day off....it's Here I should be Running Around getting things done so I can hit the Sewing Cave..well I did say Should..
I have so much I should be doing but I need a Push...still have 2 boxes to unpack maybe that will be a start...my New Ball Trees out the front need Trimming...maybe I can get DS to do them he is off today...I should be Starting some New Designs in Redwork or work on my New Quilt...
I do only have till 12pm today being the first day but next week will be a full day...you know I will be worried about her the whole time wondering how she is going...
I do need to go to the Post Office maybe I should shout myself a cuppa while I'm out and hang around outside the Daycare till 12 so I'm not late picking her up..
There's always Next Tuesday to get those things done..lol

I Finished the Families Stockings...Mine is the first one and as you can see is Entirely Different to the rest...needless to say I ran out of Fabric by the time I got to mine but that's Ok I love the Antique look....all ready to Surprise the Family on Xmas Morning...there not very fat and don't hold a lot but just big enough for some Choccies and Gift Cards...

No Pics for this post...Recently I heard of some Sad News from My Dear Friend Michele...
Not sure if you know Michele Hill of Sth Aust..Michele has her Designs based on William Morris Applique...Over the last 3 Months Michele has had Stolen 2 large Boxes of all her Quilts and Class Samples through Australia Post....not 1 but 2...it's Obvious that there are people in the Postal Industry that know of Michele and have helped themselves to all her hard work...
I have been chosen to help Michele out with some stitching and to help her get some Samples ready for her Feb Classes next year...here is the link to Michele's Blog where she has photo's of all that has gone missing for People to keep an Eye Out...
I think Michele has Involved the Police Now...
Michele is a Gorgeous and Very Generous Quilter and has helped me this year with Free Patterns it's only fitting I return the favour.

Sunday Night I went along with DD & Little Miss E to a White Xmas Spectacular at Movieworld here on the Gold Coast....I think I Enjoyed it more than She Did..lol

We saw a Great Stage Show...

Then they turned the Lights on....and

Her Face says it all really.....there was so much for a little Mite to take in.....

Finally have had the time this morning to Blog...we have been in the New House for 1 week Today and is looking half lived in...Back to work last night and on Nanna Duties Today so Life goes On... a Routine I was desperate to get back into...
Melbourne was Good Unfortunately I was sooo Tired from packing it took me 3 days before I started to feel any Normality and getting the hang of Melb City Streets...being accross the lane way from Myers & DJ's was Heaven...even did a bit of Xmas Shopping..
The Reason for our Trip was for the Men to watch the Golf ..I went 2 days & shopped the rest..as you do..so this is for the Golfers.

I know there's been a lot said about this fellow but I must admit he's pretty Hot in the Flesh..

My DD & Little Miss E & I went to the Aquarium...How Cool are the Penquins...Too Cute!

I will be on my way to Melbourne...I can't believe that it is next week it's come around Very Quickly...The last week as been with mixed Emotions.
Celebrated 32yrs on Thursday..just any old day I was on nanna duties Mr.B had a Dr's appt after work..Ho Hum another Year bites the Dust..lol
Working 3 nights now has really hit into my Routine...I don't think I can settle into a New Routine until we come home which is the day we pick up the Keys to the New House..Yes this Saturday is Our Moving Day but we are not literally moving in till the 22nd...I haven't had the camera with me on my last 2 Inspections but things are coming along Nicely.
In all the Madness of still having DD & Grandie here I have managed to get into my Sewing Hole yes that is what it is feeling like at the moment a Big Hole...I have started some Xmas Swap Sewing...Just!

3 New Projects to show...

This a Tablerunner I have Designed & Made Myself under my New Label Ollie and May Designs...
it's still floating around the traps so not sure where it will end up yet...
I made it to fit my long outdoor table in pretty Aqua's & a Red Spot to match the New Decor'..

I haven't made a Bag for so Long so I have been dabbling in a little Design of My Own...
This Bag is padded so it has become quite sturdy...just handy for a couple of items to duck to the shops.
I have Embroidered Lazy Daisy Flowers along the bottom Ric Rac & have sewn Mother of Pearl Buttons along the top on both sides...

Here is our First Project together at Lily & May Designs with my Partner in Crime

Michelle designed the stitchery & I did the rest...if you click onto the photo is should show you the stitchery it is really sweet...there are Mother of Pearl Buttons in the centre.

My Goddaughter's Son had his 2yr Old Birthday Party last Sunday at a Very Popular Park..Miss.E looking all Grown Up.

I have DD & Miss.E coming to stay for about 3 weeks while they are inbetween Leases...Changing Rooms my Sewing Cave has been moved to the Study...

These have Finally Arrived...some Shops are Very Slow with their Service only had to come from NSW..hmmm
and now I can Finish off these...

I have sent one Similar to this to Someone Very Important and then I got the Call Yesterday to make another one in these Colours...

I have been Low this week with a Tummy Bug but I have managed to sit quietly & stitch the Bindings down on these 2...

I Pieced these blocks while living in Hervey Bay in 2009..the top has been finished for over 12 months so I am Pleased to see it Finished.

Still on a Mission...

Still on a Roll from the Weekend...it's Nice getting things done well catching up at least...

Working on my TTS Blocks...Quilting.

This is the Applique I was working on using the Overlay...This is my Own Design with a Little Help from William Morris....

Found this UFO floating around...I had already started this in a red thread but I'm a bit over Red after the TTS blocks so I undid it & have restarted using Cottage Garden Thread Running Postman...
This is a more Muted Red with a light Khaki through it....

Movement in the Camp...this needs a little Explaining but in a nutshell...

the section on the Right is our part of the House...

the section on the Left is dbl garage.Manshed & Entertainment area where the Gap is...

the next stage going up this week is our roof & the top section which is the kids part..

in case your not up to date...we are building with our Son & his Wife...

They will be Upstairs with their own Entrance & we are down...we will be sharing the yard etc...

Just as well we all get along hey but Financially this suited us all for now....well 5yrs at least...Oh No I am Not Packing Up for a while Yet....

So that's where I'm at this week....

The Decision has been made for me to Give up Work...even though I have only been Available for 2 days a week I am so Over Nursing Home Work....the heavy workload is not doing my Shoulders any justice but in saying that I have applied for a Job at one of our Hospitals here on the Gold Coast....I've always loved Hospital work it's not hard by comparison and I will keep trying till I get in....On the Sewing Scene.

I have been quite Busy...Fabric by Lynette Anderson for Secret Stocking Swap...I was in a Good Frame of Mind when I decided yesterday to get a start on this swap..so .I have cut up enough stockings for all the Family to Surprise them at Xmas....

All piled up ready to go....

I had some of this Bauble Wool left over so I Knitted up a Little Scarf for Miss.E

Modelling..she can't work out wether she's Cold or wants to go out in the Sun...

I had a Personal Lesson from Sue Daley on How to Perfect Points on Leaves with Applique...something that I struggle with at times...hopfully now I am on the right track...

Michele Hill with her Gorgeous William Morris Applique...Michele & I have been blogging for a short time and it was really Lovely to meet up with her at the show.

Happy Birthday NAN.. 100yrs Old Today....
I Always Teased Her about getting a Letter from the Queen but she always replied 'I don't want a letter from the Bloody Queen'...I always Laughed but I know if she was still with Us Today she would be Chuffed....
If she hadn't Fallen Over 2yrs ago and Broke Her Pelvis I think she would still be with Us...
As You Know it's been one of those Weeks....
Here are the 2 most Influential Women that were in My Life...we were all on the same Page and got on Famously.....
I know they are Together at Last & will be sharing a Drink at Happy Hour Today....I'm sure Heaven has Happy Hours..lol
We Are All Good Here Today..Packing up is now on our next Agenda even though the Move won't be till October..I always like to start Early.

16yrs is a long time...

To have the one Pet..it's a Sad Household Tonight knowing that this is our Last Night with Molly...we have had her since she was 6weeks old...she has been a Great companion for us...it's been a long hard week making the decision...at 9:30am tomorrow Molly will be Pain Free...She has Suffered Long Enough..she is Blind.has Dementia.Arthritis..Incontinent & loss of Breath...now she has lost the strength in her back legs and is not able to stand for long....as I write this I still can't believe that she is going even though I was the one being Tough telling the Family it is the right thing to do....I will be taking her ..just the two of us just as we started our Friendship together on my 40th Birthday as my Gift...RIP Molly we will Miss You..
I am recovering from a Bad Fall from last week..I fell over in our Garage on the Concrete...Ouch!!..thought I had crushed my right kneeCap but lucky I didn't..lots of pain & bruising....haven't felt like much but have been doing a little TTS stitching...and still on Nanna Duties...must Soldier On.

Miss.E was soo Excited when my Goddaughter & her Son came for a Playdate yesterday...poor Isaac wasn't sure what was going on now that Miss is walking & she was chasing him around but here they are having a cheese stick & glued to ABC4Kids.......aren't they Too Cute!

Yesterday My DS & DIL took me out to Lunch for My Birthday....Freestyle Dessert Cafe' at Fortitude Valley in Brissy.....the main meals were light...no wonder this is the Dessert I had...now anyone that knows me well knows that Lemon Citrus Tart is my all Time Fav with Coffee when I go Out....This one was to Die For..topped with Double Cream..Brandy Snap with White Chocolate Mouse filling ...Blood Orange Ice-Cream with White Choc lattice & Passionfruit Coulee.....Mumma Mia I was in Heaven...

Hexie Centres using Cottage Garden Threads....

Using Faux.

I earlier thought I would leave these centres just marked with the brown pigma pen as I couldn't find a thread that would blend in amongst the different fabrics rather than stand out ... after a visit to FIMG last week I spotted the Cottage Garden Threads & brought these home...
I am much happier now that these threads have worked out and are blending in Beautifully..
In the next Issue of Vignette Leanne will show us how to put these blocks into rows...I have been making my whole blocks as I go as not to repeat myself with the fabrics as I am using 4-5 different ranges from Blackbird Designs...

Block One Hexie Quilt.

9 to Go....These are not joined together they just look like it...I am using 3 different ranges of fabric from Blackbird Designs...I am calling this Quilt 'My Scrappy Blackbirds'....
At Waters Edge-Harvest Home & Rhubarb & Ginger....
I have been fiddling with the stitched centres trying to decide which colour thread is going to suit these fabrics...first I did Brown..no that didn't work...then a dk Red..well that really brought out the Red/Burgundy in these blocks but still didn't like it...they were popping out which is what I didn't want....I quite like the way the centres have been traced in the light brown pen that I always use...so that's what I've gone with...to me the fabrics are doing the talking not the centres...
to each their own.

Sewing for Little Ones.

Here is the end of my sewing for Miss.E...3 pairs of House Pants & 2 Pairs of PJ's...in Total 5 Pairs of PJ's & 4 Pairs of House Pants....the other's have gone home already...Oh and 1 Dress.
Not bad for a Non-Clothes Sewer...My Mum would be Proud.! I'm sure she was guiding me from Above...
Now I have had my sewing machine for 10yrs ...first ever machine...Never knew how to use the Buttonhole Thingy...My Next Mission is to make some Cushions for Nanango Primary School for the Qld Flood Appeal through Carol...normally with Cushions I just do the overlap at the back and be done with it...now I can't do that for these ones so Buttonholes it had to be..hmmm
off to Youtube again & found the best video EVER on using the R Foot to make Buttonholes on my Janome'...OMG I did It!...now don't You Laugh All You Girl's that just whip up Buttonholes like Professionals...this is Huge...now I can make Cushions that look more like they should..lol.
If you pop onto your Blog today to do a Post you will notice that Blogger have made a few New Updates as I am finding out with this post this morning.....to upload the pic was a little different than what we have been use to and a little slower but pretty good also to put in a link now you can test it before you click Ok to make sure it is the correct one..now I like that a real time saver....for a few that have been having trouble over the past few days with their pics try again it should be all OK now...
I'm off to look at New Kitchens Today..things are moving ahead....yep that means I have to start packing AGAIN!!!

On it's way now Dawn...

I bought this Top from Ebay for 99cents..it is pre-loved but still in VGConditon...saw the Idea in Blogland and had a go...sooo Pleased with my Results...it's a little Big for Miss.E right now but she will grow into it for next year....fabric is 'where the wind blows' by Melly. A couple of more Pants to finish today then I'm done sewing Little Things for a wee while... the Sun is out here today after many days of Rain....Noice. Have a Good One. cheers Maree

Yes our Little Miss is Now One...DD took her to Movieworld and I Surprised them both with Balloons and Party accessories for our Birthday Tea on Monday... DS and DIL came..Pasta and Ice-Cream Cake with Strawberry Baby Cupcakes... As you can see Miss.E just loves her Babushka Doll which we have Named Babs and her Teddy Quilt was a Hit too.... I have been making PJ's & house pants for her and still going ...I'll show them next time. We are having a more Formal Birthday Party and Naming Day on Sunday with 40 Friends/Family...should be good. Babushka for a 1st Birthday...

This is my sewing efforts today...one Big Babushka for Miss.E's First Birthday next Monday...I didn't realize this Pattern was soooo Big..I didn't stuff her as much so one's little Arms will be able to Hold Her...Was a Very Easy Pattern though from the Red Thread Company.
I've also been playing around with a pattern for PJ pants for Miss.E ...not ready to show them yet..lots of tweeking to do ...

Catching up on my BOM's...which I must rephrase from previous post stating I only had 3...well silly me had a deeper look and more like 6 if you count the ones that have been sitting in bags for a couple of years...one in particular NPNT...I had a little re-think Peg after your comment so who's not bragging now huh!..LOL.
Flying Geese god I hate those things...Until I found a better way using Mary Ellen Hopkins technique which I wish I had used in this block instead of the awful traditional way....won't be in future blocks.
This is soo Pretty I am thinking of putting it onto a Canvas for my next Sewing Room...ahh yes folks there is a Next one in about 5 months with a bit of luck weather permitting....Apparently this is a long term residence...god I hope so...so I am planning this New Room with some thought...like a higher cutting Table for starters & Better Shelving....

Stitching cushion...

After talking in my last post about the stitching cushion used by Robyn Falloon on the DVD with the current Homespun I remembered I had a long cushion put away and not being used...this fabric I have had in my stash for a couple of years is Amy Butler's Nigella in her home furnishing material is a little thicker than norm...
I set about and recovered the cushion..made a little pocket in the top right cnr for scissors which are attached to a strap...

3 ties accross the back and Ta Dah ...I found the lounge cushion too high and didn't sit right being sq...I have since heard from a couple of other bloggers who use such a cushion for stitching....
Thanks Robyn for such a Great Tip and one I will be using for some time...

catching up on BOM's

I have 3 BOM's happening at the moment and am pleased to say I have caught up on 2...this one is no: 3 and is so Sweet..'on freedom's wings' by Leanne Knell of Petals & Patches...
I first saw this at the Quilt Show in Brissy last october at the stand of Thread & Ginger..Natalie Bird.
It was in Black & White with a touch of Torquoise...I just couldn't pass it up when I saw those Birds....
I'm not following the same threads as in the instructions as I had this Gorgeous Handyed Cotton Thread in my stash from Hervey Bay...

I had the chance to sit and watch the DVD that came with the Current Homespun mag from Robyn Falloon...I like these DVD's as I ususally pick up some tips & useful hints...
This one is No Exception...Robyn Explains how she uses a Cushion to rest her hands on when she Appliques...as her posture while sitting was getting worse...
Well I can relate to that so the last 3 nights I have used a Cushion from my lounge to rest my stitching on and I can't believe the difference it has made to my Back...I rest my Left Hand on the Cushion while I stitch....Brilliant!
If you can relate to this senerio give it a try see what you Think...
My Little Companion is coming this Morning for the Day so best get going ...

Sorry got a bit lazy with the photo taking after I did this yesterday....just a Meandering stipple with loops...love them loops in a pale pink thread...Binding on from b/g fabric ...ready to stitch.

Teddies have come out to play...

I have 2 UFO's that are 12months old that have been waiting to be pinned & finished...Today I had that chance & These Teddies came out to find a Home...This is for Miss.E's 1st Birthday coming up very soon...I made this while I was in Hervey Bay whilst my DD was Pregnant....it stayed as a top just in case she turned out to be a Boy....the applique design came from an old Chook Shed pattern & I did my own thing more or less...I have a bright stripe fabric for the background...longtime bloggers will remember I was Teaching a fellow Staff Member at the Nursing Home I was working at how to Applique..I started her with these Bears for her new Granddaughter at the time...I had a couple of blocks left over hence how the quilt came about....not sure how that Lady is going with her Applique/Patchwork but I hope she has kept at it....

You were Correct...what a Fabulous response & created some Memories for some of you...I even had a Girlfriend that I went through High School with that I know reads my Blog regularly to see what I'm up too...emailed me & said it brought back so many memories of our days of the Trocedero & The Hordern Pavillion where all the Bands played once...Jan even went on ebay & found that very same album on a CD brand new she said she bought it...lol didn't think that little video would come to that but I'm glad it did...Hi Jan...

Lynda aka Bettsylyn from heavens to bettsy was quick off the mark & here is the little Giveaway for her...Enjoy stitching Lynda.

Lynda was in my Paper Bag swap some time ago so it was really lovely to have met her on Saturday as well...

I had been saying for weeks that we were making Sewing Caddies & Kits for the Qld Flood Appeal and here they are...we left them in the boot last Saturday for when our Blog Meet was over and handed them over to JOY.....2 Bags & 1 Box which mainly had fabric donated from some local Ladies...
28 Sewing Caddies with Matching Needlecase & Scissor Keeper/Scissor Fob....Unfortunately a couple missed out on Scissor Fobs as they were handed back on the morning after some re-stitching & I didn't get around to them...I'm sure it won't matter.

Drawstring Bags with Matching Needlecase.Pincushion & Scissor Fob..They did turn out Really Pretty even if I may say so Myself..
I know 28 is an odd number I did start out with 30 but I didn't have enough fabric for the matching items so they were left behind for another time...
Us 3 Amigos were Very Pleased & Relieved to have Passed these over I think I had the Girl's sewing in their sleep...all in all a Great Effort from Us in a Short space of time...I think my stitching buddies are pleased we didn't have more time cause I would have just kept going...lol
Yes Alison & Lyn I can see you Nodding & having a little Chuckle cause you know I Would Have..lol.Thanks Girl's you are the Best!

My Colour Swap from Jo (lilly pilly designs) in Tassie...was hand delivered by Fee on Saturday at our Blog Meet....my chosen Colour was Brown...Beautifully Wrapped with a Hand Made Card was looking in very Good Cond considering it's Voyage & can only Imagine the Company that she had to keep while being Carefully Placed in Fee's Lugage and flown accross the Seas.....

hmmm what's that Hiding under these Bags of Goodness.....and the Black Box was an Extra...what has Jo done here I Thought....

A Beautiful Monica Poole Bag of Course....Now I am in for a New Lighter Bag to go out with as Leather ones are too heavy for my Shoulder....it is Just Gorgeous the Fabrics are Perfect ...I have already told Jo how much I Love it & She will be having her First Outing this Morning.....And can you see that Gorgeous Fabric...oh & the Flakes..my all time Favourite ...Quilt Labels..Ric Rac Yum!..Theads & A Beautiful Tassie Thimble..which I am getting a little Collection of them now...

Now did you see these 2 most Precious Birds...I Love Birds/Trees on just about Anything and these are just Gorgeous & are sitting Pride of Place on my cupboard in my Sewing Room keeping an eye on things.....I have given them little Names they start with J & F...lol...any guesses.

Now on Saturday we had a Visitor in our little Group of 3...Pat is holidaying here on the Coast from Narromine and is a Member of Club Quilt Narromine...they Really are a Very Talented Group of Ladies...this was our First Meeting with Pat & She arrived with this Pressie for Moi...well I left it behind and we were very keen to get going on our trip so I left it for when we got home....A Beautiful Little Stitching Pouch is the most Gorgeous Blue....it even has Bling on the end of the Ribbons....ahh Pat she knows me well....

OMG when I Opened it up there is not only all these Wonderful little Pockets for Stitching Notions & a Gorgeous little Stitched Blue Bird I was Gobsmacked... but when I pulled out this Jewellery ...well I had to take a Deep Breath...I do feel Very Spoilt at the Moment...I guess as they say 'What comes around Goes around' & that's what I am Feeling Today...after Saturday's Blog Meet & My Gorgeous Gifts I am feeling Very Blessed to have The Blogging Friends that I Have & to Have Met & Love the Ones that I have....and there are soo soo many More Yet to Meet but I'm sure that Day will come...I Guess we can Blame the Qld Floods for all This in all it's Irony....

If it wasn't for the Floods....I wouldn't have made the Kits that I Did...if it wasn't for the Kits there wouldn't have been a Blog Meet....If there wasn't a Blog Meet I wouldn't have had the Opportunity to Meet all You Gorgeous Ladies to Call My Friends....

Thanks for all Your Great Comments on the Video...did anyone Remember the Song that is on it....I think you would have to be around the 50 age bracket to remember who they were...let's see if someone can guess...they were from Melbourne....the lead singer had Very Long Hair & one of the band members is still known today for other things to do with Music.....I might have a little Giveaway for the first person to comment on the Correct Answer....oh did I tell you I were a Groupie in my Very Younger Days....just a little Secret between You & Me..lol

This Swap will Run over a 6 month period so it's not dragged out over the year...It will start on the 1st March..
..whatever Month you have been given by Me that is the month that you send someone a RAK...You must send your RAK within that Month's time frame.....You will send a RAK to someone that you have Picked Yourself from the List...it can be someone that you know or someone new.....this is also a SECRET SWAP.. so when You Recieve a RAK YOU MUST Return the Favour so that way Everyone Gives & Recieves which is only Fair...

Like soft little pillows...

That's what these feel like...had a Lovely Stitching day at a Friend's yesterday and I sat and put the last tiny stitches into lots of these little pillows...Scissor Fobs and Pincushions...they have matching Needlebooks and Drawstring Bags for the 'New Beginnings' Kits..

We had a Beaut Storm here last night and it's soooo much Cooler this Morning...Thank God that Heat is a Killer!

Our first blocks have been Exchanged...Peg should get hers in the post tomorrow...this is the block that Peg made for me..my colour choices were Brown & Cream...I know this block is one of Rosie's & I love it in these colours...Gorgeous b/g fabric too...Thanks Peg I Love it...

Well it's very warm here on the Coast today...Baby E has now gone home after 3 sleep over's...Phew! Actually Baby E will soon be called Miss E as her 1st Birthday is coming up & the word 'Miss' is not to be taken lightly! if you get my drift LOL...... the air-con has been running for 24hrs & I'm heading back to the sewing room for some much needed stitching...as due date is looming for 'New Beginnings' Kits...

In this Household of late...been wanting to do a post for a few days just to say Hi...

Now this is Embarrasing for me as I usually don't work like this...10 things going at once can't be helped....Tomorrow is clean up day for sure....Sewing Caddies piling up on the far left...fabric to cut for more drawstring bags...Birthday Fat 1/4 bag reminding me to post soon.....etc etc...

And this Cheeky Monkey knows what the Camera does now she Smiles on Auto ...Crawling like Speedy Gonzales...watch out Nan I'm gonna getcha...

2 Reunions with Friends this week ...long lost work mate today & monday with our Goddaughter's Mother & Grandmother up from Sydney....full On!...Extra day with Cheeky Monkey yesterday & House Plans are in Action...Phew!

Are like Pretty Maids all in a Row Ready to Go....Birthday Fat 1/4 Club 2011 Organized & Dusted...
My First Goodie Bag is to be Posted tomorrow for my first Birthday for this year...I must let you in on something I've done for the last few years...once the list goes out I go Online & buy all the fabrics required for all the ladies in my group....once they all arrive then they go into their little goodie bag just waiting to be sent....I gave myself a reprieve tonight from the sewing caddies & thought I'd best put the final touches on the bag ready for tomorrow's posting so thought I might as well do the lot ...I don't usually have little goodie bags like these but I had bought them this year for this purpose...they look so pretty...there is a little message on the front of each one explaining something 'Special' that I have included this year....you will just have to wait & see....
Baby E has been here for 3 Nights & 3 Days...I'm one tired Nanna...She is Crawling Now.
