The Week that Was.!

As you can see our House is on the Market as of Yesterday....the Ball is in Motion....my awnings are looking a bit crooked ..their Not it is very windy here today with a little Chill in the Air....Both Mr.B & I are so Sore & Tired after Cleaning & Sorting this week and there's more sorting yet....We are very Tired and Can't be Bothered with any Crap right now so Hope it will be Smooth Sailing from Here on End...
Another 8 Boxes packed up in My Sewing Room Yesterday and it is looking Very Un-Inspiring I must say...It has been Hard to choose what will stay & what can be packed up for 10months until the New Sewing Room will be ready.....Maybe there's Hope for My Blackbird Blocks to get Finished yet...lol..

This Table will be going to Beth's on Wednesday so that wll make the room look even more Bare...You can see my Lovely Pear from Lurline sitting Proudly on top of my Drawers...these drawers are the last to get packed...why.?...they hold all my Fabric.....can't pack that up just yet....2 trips to Lifeline in 2 days...the Men on the back dock are Loving me...Not..Magazines & Books for them to sort through....have another boot load to go again...we have some Furniture to Donate to them as well but that will wait until the Sold sign is up....
Off to Clean some more Windows...hope to get some stitching done this afternoon while Mr.B is having his Poppy Nap.!

To make this Quilty...Paper Bag Swap half done..Mr.B's Fabric arrived..ordered more Heather Bailey Freshcut for Hexie's...Bought 28ct Linen for Blackbird X-Stitch & Found Milliner's Needles for Applique...So it hasn't been all that bad of a week...
..Thanks for stopping by.....Maree

I don't envy you at all Maree , wish I could help you though .

Millie July 5, 2009 11:46 AM

Maree, hope all goes smoothly for your sale. I hate all the Open Inspections stuff & strangers wandering through. So let's hope you get a fab offer the first week & can slam the front door on the 'Great Unwashed Masses' as MOTH used to call them!!
Had a good laugh at your Depend packing boxes in your previous post!

Maree, I am humbled...I was only without my sewing room for a month, but you have such a long wait for yours. I hope you are able to enjoy your stitching regardless, and find new and interesting things to do with portable projects.
Love that pear! :-)
